When creating a horror trailer, you do not use every shot and clip in which you film, this may be because they aren't of a high enough quality or it may be because ideas have changed post-filming.Also, this is in fact a trailer, so therefore, the clips do not have to be in chronological order. The following four media forms show examples of clips and shots in which we haven't decided to use for one reason or another. However, it is important for these to be kept to for reference so as a group we know what not to repeat and how to correct mistakes made within these shots and clips.
This was one of our first shots that we filmed for our trailer. We used used this show at the beginning of our trailer, because it was to portrays her to be a lonely teen. As well as the, the water in the background is rain, which creates the idea of her being sad and lonely, giving it the pathetic fallacy. Although we didn't include this our final trailer, because we didn't like the background with the cars and the school building.
This was another potential show that we had shot, but is not in our final trailer. We chose to film this show, because she is blonde, and showing some skin, that would eventually attract the male audience.
This was part of the footage that we shot, when the friend was being hanged by curtains. Although we had to re shoot this clip, because we didn't was to include the small heater in the back, because it draws attention away from the feet that's kicking, and it doesn't look good in the trailer.
