We have decided to go with the title of 'Lara'. We believe that Lara is a good title because of the simplicity of it, it we have a simple title the audience will not know what to expect from the film as we are not giving away any clues or hints about the content of the movie. Also, because of it's simplicity, the audience will allow their imagination to run wild with questions and suspicions like 'who is Lara' and 'What has Lara done?' meaning that they are already creating scenarios within their minds in which is going to make them nervous and tense. Also it goes against conformation in the sense that most evil and horrible people are always perceived as a male who is big, strong and intimidating but we decided to go against the traditional horror villain and have a quiet, innocent looking girl playing the horrible monster, which is why we have gone with the title of 'Lara'.
Our tagline is 'You don't want her in your life' and we have decided to use this for our tagline because even though we know that the tagline itself is describing the poltergeist/spirt, to the audience it could be describing either the poltergeist or Georgia and so it is giving the idea of that there is an element of uncertainty within the audiences imagination which will make them feeling uncomfortable and on edge making them want to go and see the film to figure out who the evil one is.
