We made a shooting schedule to empower us to ensure that all shots we required would be shot on schedule for us to alter for our due date. And in addition, creating a shooting plan enabled us to secure the actors and the camera. Making a shooting schedule tells us what time of day we are expected to film and to be prepared to know when certain props and things we need to be included should have been made, finished and collected by.
18th November 2016 - Filming at school
On this date we will begin filming at school with the scenes we can do whilst at school. These will include the friendship scenes between Georgia and Asena and the smashing of the glasses, cups and plates to be used in the titles throughout the trailer. These scenes can easily be completed at school and won't take us long to perfect, so the first day of filming will be easy and quick to get through with just little and short shots. These beginning shots will set us in the right direction for the rest of the filming we will do in the following weeks.
25th November 2016 - Filming in evening at Georgia's house
Filming in the evening at Georgia's house will allow us to get all the nighttime shots of Georgia in the car. These will be of Georgia trying to get out of the car, but to find it is locked from the inside and the poltergeist has trapped her in there. These shots will be a vital part of the making of our trailer as they are nighttime scenes which illustrates darkness and the unknown and will put our audience on edge.
2nd December 2016 - Filming at Matt's house
Once the filming at school and at nighttime has been completed, we can then begin concentrating on the main parts of our trailer, which will be filmed at Matt's house. The house is a modern house situated on its own at the end of the road. This makes for a brilliant establishing shot of the house with the lights on inside, creating an mysterious and freakish atmosphere. Other parts of Matt's house, such as the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom will also be used for scenes throughout our trailer. As it will take us quite a while to film and perfect all of the scenes we wish to shoot at Matt's house, we will spread the days of shooting over 2 different days to give us enough time to get it all done correctly.
9th December 2016 - Filming at Matt's house 2
The second day of filming at Matt's house will allow us to continue and finish our filming as this will be the final day of filming footage for our trailer. We can also go over and check that all of the previous shots we have done before at Matt's house are good enough to use, and therefore, if any need to be re-filmed or tweeked, we will have the opportunity on this day to add more and film things again in order to make sure our trailer is the best it can possibly be and has the best attempt at the shots that we wish to create.
